CODESYS Inside
The nX3E is programmable with CODESYS, a software platform designed for modern industrial automation. The IEC 61131-3 development environment covers PLC programming, HMI (WebVisu) and Motion Control in a single tool.
CODESYS Store Ready
Section titled “CODESYS Store Ready”The nX3E integrates the CODESYS runtime in its purest form — all standard libraries and additional components available on the CODESYS Store are supported without modifications.

Fieldbus and Industry 4.0
Section titled “Fieldbus and Industry 4.0”nX controllers natively support:
- EtherCAT Master with configurator
- CANopen Master with configurator
- OPC UA Server
Additional fieldbuses can be enabled via licenses from the CODESYS Store. All communication stacks include a configurator for network setup and diagnostics.
Thanks to libraries for MQTT, Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud, the nX3E is Industry 4.0 ready.
